  • Size Used: The amount of storage used on the Codebook Cloud servers. This includes your account information and encrypted changesets. The total storage is not the same as the size of your database on your device.
  • Last Sync: The date and time your last Codebook Cloud sync was performed from any device. This does not mean that all of the devices synced at that time. See the Linked Devices section for each devices last sync date/time.

Sample of the Linked Devices Section of the Devices and Data Page

The Linked Devices section contains information about all of the devices that are linked to the Codebook Cloud Account.

  • Device Name: The name of the linked device. The name is sent to Codebook Cloud from the device when the device is signed in to Codebook Cloud
  • Codebook Platform: Identifies the platform of the device and therefore the version of Codebook that is being used on the device.
  • Issued: This is the date the device signed in to Codebook Cloud.
  • Unseen Changes: Identifies the Sync status of the device. The system can determine if a device is "Up to date" or how many "Unseen Changes" have not been seen by the device. Notice the iPhone 15 Pro (iPhone 16,1) has 1 unseen change. This is because it has not been used sinced the Last Sync.

Note: The number of unseen changes is a count of the changesets (data that was saved as a group) that have not been processed. A changeset may contain multiple individual updates.

  • Last Used: This is the date/time the device most recently synced to Codebook Cloud.

Devices and Data - Data Management options

There are 2 Data Management options:

  2. Delete My Data

  • Client: The Codebook Cloud platfrom that created the changeset.
  • Overwrite: Used to indicate this changeset was created as a result of an overwrite.

  • Size: The size of the changeset.
  • Schema: The number of the database schema of the changeset.

Codebook Cloud provides the ability to delete your data from the Codebook Cloud Servers. If you wish to instead delete your account entirely, see Delete My Account on the Devices and Data page.

All of your data stored in Codebook Cloud by the Codebook sync feature will be deleted. That includes all of your encrypted change-sets and any metadata associated with them, such as timestamps, change-sequence numbers, and unique, random user identifiers. The data on your devices is not changed or deleted.

You may wish to first disable the "Automatically Sync with Codebook Cloud" setting in your Codebook clients before proceeding, to prevent them from attempting to re-sync your data to Codebook Cloud. If a device tries to sync with a Codebook Cloud account after the data has been deleted, a Sync error will occur.

Show steps to Perform the Delete

Deleting your data:
