Codebook Cloud

Automatic Sync

Codebook Cloud is an automatic sync service for Codebook. It keeps your data up-to-date on all your devices instantaneously. Unlike the other sync services that Codebook supports, you'll never have to remember to sync all your devices yourself after setting a new password.

Codebook Cloud is free to try with a subscription.

  1. Setup your Sync Key

    You need to create or import your Sync Key.

  2. Select Codebook Cloud service

    On macOS

    1. Open the Codebook Settings window. Codebook -> Settings...
    2. Select the Sync tab on the Settings window.

      Click to open the Sync Service drop-down list.

    3. Select Codebook Cloud

      1. Check the Automatically sync with Codebook Cloud box
      2. Click Sign In

      3. Enter your Codebook Cloud email and password. Click Sign In

        The Codebook Cloud is Ready screen will be displayed.

        Your account and subscription status will be displayed.

    On Windows

    1. Open the Codebook Preferences window, select the File menu -> Preferences.
    2. Select the Sync tab on the Preferences window and click the selctor to display the drop down list of sync options.

    3. Click the Sign In button.

    4. Enter your Codebook Cloud email and password. Click Sign In

    5. Your account and subscription status will be displayed. Click Save

    On iOS

    1. Open the Codebook Sync screen. Tap Sync in the tab bar at the bottom of the screen.

    2. Tap Sign In on the Account row or Tap the Sign In button.
    3. Enter your Codebook Cloud email and password.
    4. Tap Sign In

    On Android

    1. Open the Codebook Sync screen. Tap Home -> Sync

    2. Tap to Service to select Codebook Cloud

    3. Tap Sign In.
    4. Enter your Codebook Cloud email and password.
    5. Tap Sign In.

You need a Codebook Cloud account to use the auto-sync feature. Once you have created an account and signed in, your devices using the same Codebook Cloud account will automatically sync changes as they are saved. There is nothing more for you do do.
