Updating to the Latest Version

Instructions for updating your installation of Codebook to the latest version. Platform requirements and direct download links are also available.

On android

Latest Version: 5.2.0

  1. Launch the Google Play App Store app on your device
  2. The app should automatically check for updates

You can also manually check Google Play for updates:

  1. Launch the Google Play app
  2. Tap the profile icon in the top-right corner
  3. Tap Manage apps & device
  4. Tap Manage
  5. Tap Updates available

On ios

Latest Version: 5.2.1

  1. Visit this link on your iPhone or iPad
  2. Tap the Install or Update button
Alternatively
  1. Launch the App Store app on your device
  2. Tap on the profile image icon to display the Account view
  3. Tap on Purchased
  4. Scroll to Codebook (or search for it in the Purchased list) and tap on it
  5. Tap on the Install or Update button

On macos

Latest Version: 5.2.1

If you purchased Codebook in the Mac App Store:

  1. Visit this link on your Mac
  2. Click the "View in the Mac App Store" button if the Mac App Store doesn't automatically launch
  3. The App Store app will launch and display the Codebook page
  4. Click the Install or Update button below the Codebook icon
  5. When installation completes click the Open button, or launch Codebook from Spotlight or the Applications folder

If you purchased Codebook from Zetetic directly:

  1. Launch Codebook on your Mac
  2. Click on the Codebook menu in the menu bar and select Check For Updates

On windows

  1. Launch Codebook for Windows on your PC
  2. Codebook will automatically check for updates
