Codebook for macOS Beta Testing

Signing Up

To sign up for beta testing send us an email at letting us know that you'd like to participate. We'll add you to our internal list of testers and send you information on downloading the latest beta version. We also encourage you to sign up for our discussion forum for access to the Codebook beta forum.

Getting Updates

Beta versions of Codebook for macOS can check for subsequent beta build updates to keep you up-to-date with the latest fixes and improvements. We also post to the beta discussion forum every time we start a new beta test for the next version we plan to release. For updates containing more significant changes we may reach out directly via email with information about testing.

When you log into a beta build of Codebook for the first time the app will prompt you to Enable Beta Updates. When enabled Codebook's update notification feature will begin checking for beta updates. Turning on this feature will not affect officially released (non-beta) versions of Codebook, which ignore beta updates entirely.

Whether or not you enable automatic updates, if you are using the beta version of Codebook you can always go to the Codebook menu > Check for Updates to see if there's a newer beta version available.
